What is an F Color Diamond?

The GIA color grading scale or diamond color chart classifies F color diamonds as “colorless”.

Colorless diamonds are gemstones not containing visible color tints, particularly shades of yellow.

F color is considered the third best in the bracket of colorless diamonds, behind D and E color.

These three are the most sought after colors of diamonds because of their beauty and rarity. Likewise, they have the highest tag prices.

For starters, F color is one of the most in demand diamond colors. This can assure consumers that it is already industry-tested and a favorite amongst patrons.
It also happens to be cheapest in the colorless diamonds; slightly less expensive than E color and relatively cheaper than D color.
Despite being the cheapest, F color diamonds are just as good as the two. The differences in the color grades are almost unnoticeable to the naked eyes, even if you put these three together. Only a gemologist with an equipment and trained eyes would see the differences in details.
To the bare eyes, an F color diamond will be seen as an icy white or colorless gemstone. The spark and glimmer quality you are looking for under any lighting conditions are very much guaranteed with this color.

F Color Diamond Clarity

For the best quality, flawless clarity would be the best choice.
